Restraint, Safe Holds and Escorting
We only offer the physical intervention training that is appropriate for your needs. We aim to ensure that participants are able to be part of a safe and therapeutic intervention team.
This course includes legal and ethical issues surrounding the use of force so you’re informed of what is and is not appropriate in each situation.
In addition to teaching you and your staff how to effectively communicate while using physical intervention and how to effectively work as a team while using these techniques, we also make sure you’re able to exhaust all non physical options first.
Ranging from deescalation strategies, how to behave in ways that reduce challenging behaviour to teaching cultural awareness and risks associated, we teach everything you need to know to ensure you’re creating a safe environment for all involved.
Depending on your organisational needs, we can offer different course lengths tailoring each course specifically for you and your staff. Although we take these courses incredibly seriously, we also offer a friendly approach.
